How to Remove Toolbars From Google Chrome

When you install programs on your computer, you are often left with many third-party toolbars cluttering your internet browser. These tool bars often inhibit your browser experience by shortening the amount of screen space available to view web pages. If you use Google Chrome and want to remove unwanted toolbars, just follow these simple and easy-to-follow steps.
First: Get to the tools menu
In order to remove a toolbar, you need to locate the tool menu. To find this menu, you click on the settings icon. This icon is located in the upper, right-hand area of the screen and looks like a wrench. Once you click on this wrench, a drop-down menu appears. Locate the tools menu, and click on it. When you click on this bar, a tools menu appears.
Second: How to locate the extensions folder
Once you get into the tool sub-menu, you need to find an extensions area. In this extensions folder, you can remove the toolbar that you do not want.
Third: Uninstall the unwanted toolbar
Now that you are looking at the extension menu, you must select the option to disable or uninstall the toolbar or extension. Once you have done this, restart Google Chrome, and the toolbar is gone. Some toolbars may require you to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. If a toolbar requires this step, you receive a prompt after the toolbar has been deleted. In this case, simply restart your computer, and when you re-open Chrome, the unwanted toolbar is removed.
